The Beginning of Ohana Earth

It has been a little over a couple of months – Ohana Earth has had a few staggered launches – online and offline, and is one exhibition old.

Late nights and sleep-riddled days, healthy doses of self-questioning, and lot of dreams!!

Hello hello everyone!

It has taken a bit of time to come out here and be myself! But better late than never!

Me and my Ohana welcome you to our world!

Why Ohana Earth?

It was a dogged search for that one beautiful brass incense dispenser that sent me down the crowded, never-before-been-to alleys of the city I was born in, that sowed the seeds for Ohana Earth. This is what set me thinking of creating a something that embodies the 3 timeless qualities.

Beauty, elegance and kindness!

Celebrating Handmade Creations

I find immense beauty and elegance in what the human hand can create! And also, the associated imperfections are an integral part of that beauty that needs to be celebrated! Ohana Earth has been created to celebrate the beauty of hand-made and hand-crafted creations. It is my earnest endeavour to bring to you beautiful, one of its kind creations by masters of their crafts.

Then there is ‘elegance. Elegance is ‘classy’ and needs no introduction as it speaks for itself – subtly but surely. We value the ‘different’. We think it is ‘classy’ to stand for what you believe in and stand apart from the rest if that is what it takes. Ohana Earth’s wish for our products is to be known by their classiness, our never-compromising take on quality, our values and what we stand for – a class apart from the rest.

Kindness at the Core

Sometimes, it is important to be kind than to be right. I, as a person, strongly believe in this, especially in the times that we are living in. Without further adding to the already existing (environmental) adversities, our products are kind to the environment. They are fairly made, keeping the welfare of the creators in priority.

A Promise to You

I promise to make this space honest and interesting, more often both together 😊, by sharing the journey of my Ohana Earth. So, please keep coming back!

For now, I wish to sign off by saying that I am grateful to you for being with me. It is going to be my earnest effort to bring to you beautiful, of its kind products that are classy and kind!
